Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, being a socially responsible company, actively participates in the development of the infrastructure of Zarafshan region on the territory of the Kyzylkum.

In particular, by the expense of NMMC the alley of fountains, the modern preschool educational organization for children with disabilities and other social facilities have been built for recent years in Zarafshan city. The continuation of such good deeds is reflected in the program of measures of NMMC for the implementation of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 in “Year of human care and quality education”.

To date, in accordance with this program, the company is building a specialized boarding school for 504 places in Zarafshan.

More than 140 builders and more than 10 units of special equipment of Zarafshan Construction Department are involved in the construction of a three-story educational building, consisting of seven blocks, sports grounds, as well as the conversion of 10 cottages into hostels.

This educational institution, which is planned to be put into operation in the new academic year, will ensure that the representatives of the future generation receive a quality education. This indicates the active participation of the company in supporting education in Uzbekistan and the socio-economic development of the regions.
