As noted in the news of Samarkand Automobile Plant – SamAuto company, the official representative of Caterpillar (USA) in Uzbekistan Zeppelin Uzbekistan presented 4 ISUZU D-MAX vehicles produced in Samarkand to “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company” Joint-Stock Company.

The news notes that these vehicles were provided as part of a memorandum of cooperation between the two companies for the timely maintenance of Caterpillar heavy-duty mining equipment used in the gold mines of “NMMC” JSC.

It should be noted that Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company and Caterpillar have been cooperating effectively for 30 years. A lot of Caterpillar heavy-duty trucks, bulldozers and other mining equipment are used extensively in the gold mines and enterprises at units of the company.
